Chapter 15: Good weird
Part 1
The smell of coffee slowly brought him back to consciousness, though he had to put in some effort to get there a little faster. Toudou managed to pry his eyes open, by logic he was awake but was having a hard time convincing the rest of himself. He eventually lifted his head and looked down to see he was sprawled out on the couch. The air mattress below him was empty, though he looked up and saw that burly shape sitting in the easy chair by the TV.
Tadokoro was sipping a steaming cup in between bites of a huge muffin. It looked like he had on some morning show; a camera was going down a rollercoaster with cuts to some host in a button down shirt having his perfectly coiffed hair messed up. Toudou managed to peel himself off the back of the chair, a twinge went through

Description: It was supposed to be a relaxing weekend in San Francisco. Makishima, Tadokoro, and Toudou were supposed to connect again, put aside some past drama from their high school days, and do some racing like old times. A bike crash later Makishima would be fighting for his life and his friends would face some hard emotions.

Author’s Note: This is my second ever Yowapeda fic and my first one of this length and scope. I am still in the process of figuring out the characters and getting in tune with the plot so things might be a little off.
