Also happy 50th birthday to Bryan Adams, my first introduction to mass fandom.

I am actually working on the latest chapter of One Alias. It is halfway done now but my fool's hope is to get it done today because of what day it is and what is going on. However I can make no guarantees.

Speaking of fic updates, I became painfully aware on LJ that this is now the start of National Novel Writing Month and a lot of people I know are taking part in it. National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, for those who don't know is a project where people attempt to write a novel or at least 50,000 words of a piece in one month. The biggest comparison I make is that it is writing half of Hooligan's Holiday in one month.

I did give some thought to participating and had an idea for a piece with "Welcome to Greycliffe," however my work schedule makes my own writing a spotty affair and I have fic projects I want to continue with.

However, most of my friends on LJ are taking part in this and I learned a project like this requires no distractions, hence if I do post something there it is unlikely to get read and there will probably be a back-up by the end of the month for people who do read my stuff over there. As a result I will probably be holding all updates and stories on LJ until the end of the month.

I did post a poll here to see if anyone here was taking part in NaNo. If it was also a mass project for most people than I would probably hold most of my fic updates in general. However since all but two people so far either are not taking part in NaNo or don't even know what it is, updates will continue accordingly. If you do primarily read my fics on LJ and would like to see continued updates over there, let me know.
